There’s a story calling from within,

Aching to be told.

Yet the words can often feel unknown, unattainable. 

There’s a feeling of them being on the tip of the tongue. 

There’s a gesture of the hand that tries to encapsulate the feeling, the stories within. 

You see, 

Words, language are oh so beautiful to me

Often I am taken aback 

The way in which humans are able to pour the essence of their experience into a string of words. 

And on the contrary, 

As the classic tale goes, 

One image speaks a thousand words. 

We speak through our eyes, 

We listen through our hearts. 

Our skin tells the stories of the past.
